Hulk Super Hero Squad Review: Gamma Lab Playset with Hulk & Spider-Man

The Hulk Super Hero Squad line almost directly mirrored the Spider-Man Super Hero Squad. Thankfully, Hasbro omitted any additional absurd vehicles (if there had been a Hulk Battle Truck I would have lost it) but there was one repaint in the Hulk line that didn’t make much sense. And it just so happened to be a playset.
Star Wars Galactic Heroes Review: Pre Vizsla and Mandalorian Warrior

It seems like every time I think I’m done with Galactic Heroes, a new set comes out that draws me right back in. Like every boy that grew up in the 70s and 80s, I’m naturally drawn to Boba Fett and any character that looks like him. So when it was announced that a two-pack of Pre Vizsla and a Mandalorian warrior were coming out, I knew I’d end up grabbing them even if I knew nothing about them.
Disney Heroes Review: Pixar Collection

The first Disney Heroes pack I reviewed took a single property and made most of the main characters from it. Iron Man 2 Super Hero Squad Review: Armor Vault

Iron Man is lucky when it comes to being a toy, he can get away with a lot more than most. When a pack of four different Wolverine figures gets released, it’s boring. When Batman gets a crazy coat of paint, it’s weird. But when Iron Man shows up in something weird, it’s usually cool.
Tony Stark has created dozens of versions of the Iron Man armor over the years. Most of them are just prototypes, intended to prove a concept. A few, however, are powerful, specialized suits of armor far too dangerous to display in his Hall of Armor. These he keeps in a reinforced vault, always ready to launch into action.
Iron Man 2 Super Hero Squad Review: Iron Defense Squad

The Super Hero Squad has been avoiding making figures of civilians, which explains why we haven’t gotten a classic Tony Stark in just a suit. But for figures based off the movies, omitting Pepper Potts and Happy Hogan just seems wrong. This pack kind of remedies it and kind of doesn’t.
On the run from a powerful, worldwide organization bent on his destruction, Iron Man must rely on his friends for help. Captain America can always be counted on to do what’s right for his allies. Meanwhile, Pepper Potts, in armor designed specifically for her, hits the skies as the new hero Rescue!
