Iron Man Super Hero Squad Review: Crimson Dynamo Attacks

I’ve got to hand it to Hasbro’s copy writers; they did a great job tying together the Iron Man packages so they fit in with the comic book world while still sounding like something that could happen in the movies. But even the best writers can’t show that this pack is nothing more than four repaints.

The nuclear-powered super villain known as the Crimson Dynamo attacks one of Stark International’s secluded desert storage facilities, intent on stealing what technology he can sell, and destroying the rest! Luckily, Iron Man is there, testing his new desert combat armor. Using his remote systems, he takes control of two other powerful armor systems and turns the tables on his attacker!

Iron Man Super Hero Squad Review: Iron Man Face Off

When the first Iron Man movie came out, many fans were holding their breath just incase the movie turned out to be like most comic book movies: awful. Sure, for every Blade and X-2, you’ve got to deal with Ghost Rider, Punisher, Daredevil, Elektra and Spider-Man 3. So when it turned out that Iron Man was actually good, it caught us somewhat off guard. Hasbro didn’t even release Super Hero Squad figures based off the movie for the first wave!

Iron Man’s arch-enemy the Crimson Dynamo has teamed up with the Titanium Man to take out the Iron Avenger once and for all. Even the invincible Iron Man will need help against the technological terror of his enemies. Luckily, his friend War Machine is always ready for a fight!

Toy Review: Iron Man 2 Super Hero Squad 3-Pack – Armor Wars Part 2

The second pack in the as-of-now series of two, Armor Wars, follows the same route as the first pack that was released: two new sculpts and one repaint. But this time instead of getting a comic looking pack based off of the movie, this pack draws straight from the comics and throws Iron Man against two of his metal clad foes.

A pair of powerful old enemies from a long-gone nation team up to destroy Iron Man. With armor every bit as fast and powerful as the American Super Hero, these two Iron Curtain stalwarts think there’s nothing that can stop them. It will take all of the power and intelligence Iron Man has to beat his newest foes!
