Playskool Heroes Marvel Super Heroes Review: Hulk & Thor

It’s kind of weird that my adoration of Super Hero Squad figures didn’t extend to Hasbro’s second attempt with the Marvel Super Heroes Adventures Playskool Heroes. They’re similar in scale and good toys, but they just don’t seem to appeal to me. At least this set gives me a minor excuse. Read the rest of this entry »

Marvel Super Hero Adventures Playskool Heroes Review: Spider-Man & Green Goblin

It’s not easy for any collector when a toy line ends. Years ago, I devoured all of the Ninja Turtles toys I could get my hands on when the new cartoon debuted, and then I began viciously collecting Marvel Legends up until Hasbro took over. That was eventually replaced by my love of the Super Hero Squad and its kin the Galactic Heroes, Robot Heroes, Combat Heroes and Adventure Heroes. But for some reason, Hasbro recently decided to break my heart and effectively ended the entire Hasbro Heroes group for these. Read the rest of this entry »
