Marvel Super Hero Squad Review: Punisher & Blade

Some two-packs follow a basic theme, like packing two gods together. Other packs were clearly manipulated by marketers. Of course, some just don’t make any sense as a pairing but there are also packs where the figures are absurdly similar: like getting two guys in trench coats holding guns.

Marvel Super Hero Squad Review: Deadpool & Punisher

I was so tempted to write this whole review from the perspective of Deadpool, but for your sake, I decided against it. The last pack of wave 6 of the Super Hero Squad clearly is the other half of the Captain America & Cable pack, so be sure to read that one first.

Marvel Super Hero Squad Review: Battle for New York

The Super Hero Squad turned out to be far more popular with both kids and collectors than anticipated, so Hasbro was soon putting out more product. But instead of having a repeat of Wave 5 with 16 figures, the Super Hero Squad starting getting sold in four-packs along side the two-packs: they’re basically like the 5-packs but in smaller packaging. Marvel Super Hero Squad Review – Punisher & Ghost Rider

The first half of wave 2 for the Super Hero Squad was based on famous, founding members of the Avengers while the other two packs were inspired by Marvel’s most recent (at the time) movies, but this pack may just take the cake for the two least appropriate figures to ever be marketed to the 3-year-old demographic.
