Iron Man Super Hero Squad Review: Iron Man Face Off

without comments

When the first Iron Man movie came out, many fans were holding their breath just incase the movie turned out to be like most comic book movies: awful. Sure, for every Blade and X-2, you’ve got to deal with Ghost Rider, Punisher, Daredevil, Elektra and Spider-Man 3. So when it turned out that Iron Man was actually good, it caught us somewhat off guard. Hasbro didn’t even release Super Hero Squad figures based off the movie for the first wave!

Marvel Super Hero Squad Review: Collector’s Pack #1

without comments

When the Super Hero Squad was first starting out, there weren’t repaints and with the exception of Spider-Man, no character had more than two versions released. You’ve got to hand it to Hasbro, they know when they’ve got a hit on their hands and rush product out the door. But sometimes companies get a little excited about having new toys and put them out before the street date, and that’s exactly what Toys “R” Us did with the newest Iron Man 2 toys. But I’m not complaining, because anything that adds to my armory is okay with me!

Iron Monger is back and more powerful than ever! As the giant Super Villain smashes his way through Stark Industries, Iron Man and his friend War Machine prepare to bring the battle to the bag guy. Iron Monger might be tough, but against two supersonic Super Heroes he doesn’t stand a chance!

Review: Marvel Super Hero Squad Iron Man & War Machine

without comments

The second (and last) pack of Wave 16 of Marvel Super Hero Squad is an interesting one. Containing a straight repaint and one of the most elaborate resculpts to make a figure look almost identical to an existing one, this pack is anything but essential.
